A 1953 Willys M38A1 that has been restored with the tub off the frame by a body shop. Some of the parts are not original. This jeep runs great and all of the brakes including the emergency brake are new and it stops great. Tires are like new as well. As far as the rebuild goes I believe all are original parts except brakes, wheel cylinders, brake drums, steering gear box shaft tensioner, tie rods, shocks, front stabilizer and fuel tank gas cap but I have the original gas cap. The gas tank is a reproduction. The rebuild was completed in December of 2012. The rebuilder told me that some of the rebuild parts are Rapco brand. The jeep only has about 250 miles on it since it was rebuilt. The casting number is 806279-N-12-D-AR. The MFR Serial Number on the plate is 37591, there is also a small metal plate located off to the passenger"s side right shoulder that is also stamped with 37591. The delivery date on the plate is 1/1953. The Jeep has a clear Louisiana title. Shipping is responsibility of buyer. Seller will work with buyer to the best of their ability.
