This auction is for a 1974 March F2 race car model 742 . Chassis production number # 742/65 . It is a project race car. I am selling it for a customer/ friend. He was going to restore it and install a Cosworth BDG 2 liter engine and go vintage racing. He has since then changed his mind and the project has to go. The car is all in pieces, no shocks and brake rotors. One rear upright has a broken button pick up, can be easily repaired other than that all the other uprights are complete and in great condition. It does not have its gearbox. What you see in the pictures is what you will get. The engine is a Cosworth BDG 2 liter and it is all apart. The block has a crack in between the cylinder ( see the pictures) and will need to be fixed. Heads, crank are good. It is pretty much all there including the webers carbs. What you will get: Complete set of body panel including rear wing. Chassis/tub in great condition, roll bar with rear down braces,water radiator,complete 4 corners with all wishbones,uprights, brake calipers,rotor hats, wheels,rear upper and lower beam,water pipes,expansion tanks,oil tank,bell housing, starter,BDG engine cosworth 2 liter in pieces, some gauges,lots of brackets and related parts.
