Luscombe 8E - 1940 “A” Model converted to an “E” in 1995 with an O-200. TTAF 7712, TSOH 490. Full electrical system, wingtip strobes, dual landing lights, nav and instrument lights. Full panel includes EGT/CHT and clock. Has AT-150 transponder, ICOM 200 VHF, and Pointer 3000-10 ELT. Two 11.5 gallon wing tanks and a full cargo area with reinforced floor rated at 75lbs. Ceconite wings and Imron paint. This airplane was a courier aircraft for the U.S. government during WWII and owned by the Defense Plant Corp. I recently purchased a restoration project and the Luscombe needs a new home where someone can care for and enjoy this airplane as much as I have.
