Heavy Duty 2002 Freightliner MT55 stepvan with very low miles (35,109).
Basically, it is kind of like one of the big FEDEX or UPS delivery step vans but heavier duty as I believe most of those are MT45s. Compared to Freightliner"s more standard Stepvan (the MT45), the MT55 is a heavier-duty vehicle that has a gross vehicle weight rating of between 20,000 - 30,000 pounds and offers a payload capacity of up to 19,000 pounds and has a greater volume capacity, making it a more suitable choice for larger payload applications, like delivery and service contractor trucks.
5.9 L diesel engine
Has some sort of built in generator & compressor. I don"t know if either work as I"ve never used them (I am the second owner & I just used it for antique/collectable flea markets several times a year). Originally used for construction & has shelving on one wall, and a workbench on the other wall with drawers that latch so they don"t open while driving, but both can easily be removed.
Aluminum body, aluminum diamond plate floor, smoother aluminum walls & ceiling.
Although it is currently set up with an extended cab with an extra seat behind the driver and empty space next to that, the seat can be removed & the dividing sliding gate/wall could be moved forward if additional space is desired in the back.
Has always been a good runner.
Yeah, you could even turn it into a food truck.
