2002 Jet Kart. Custom Dino shifter kart chassis with Allied Signal JFS-100-13A, pure jet engine. This is a custom built, high performance, jet powered go kart for setting speed records, car shows, promotional events, or a unique addition to your personal collection. It has been an attraction at several air shows where it amazed crowds with high speed passes at over 100 mph. It has an onboard, switch activated smoke system, Percent of RPM, EGT and Oil temp gauges, additional oil cooler and disc brakes. It comes with a 24 volt starter cart. The engine is very dependable, easy to start and runs on jet fuel. It has a unique throttle specifically designed for this application. The Jet Kart is a major attraction at public and private events, idling at 48,000 rpm with full throttle at 78,000rpm. The engine operates on thrust alone, producing just over 100 lbs at full throttle. Children and adults love it as a static display or firing up and running. The Jet Kart is not to operated by children. It is built for adult use only. Hearing protection is advised. Engine manual is included with sale. The buyer must sign a liability release form at the time of sale. $12,500. Shipping can be arranged at buyers expense.
