JEEP M-715 JEEP, 5 quarter ton. Original military configuration except for ignition switch which replaced Military toggle switch. Engine runs great, Heater, Windshield wipers, blower, choke, all work. Canvas top in good condition. Batteries good. Trans, clutch, four wheel and parking brake are functional. Very little rust (California Vehicle). Painted with epoxy Marine Corps helicopter paint O/D. HISTORY: MFG for the Military in 1967, Sold by Military to Forest Service, purchased by induvial Marine aboard Tustin Helicopter Air Station from forest service. Purchase by me in 2001. NEGATIVES: Minor dents, gas gage sticks until used a bit. Main bearing seal leaks a little due to lack of use. Runs slightly rich ( carb set for 4,000’ ).
