Homebuilt Single Seat Low Wing Fly Baby? inc engine FOR PARTS/PROJECT
This project has been housed in a southwestern hanger for years and years. It is "AS IS". Definitely, there are parts that need repair, but this could be an interesting project. To fly it will obviously require lots and lots of careful inspection and work.
This is what you get if you win the auction.
You get the airframe as shown with a rusty structure that was well welded together. You get wings and control surfaces which need some work. The airframe has no logs. And, you get an engine. The engine does NOT have logs, and it does not come with accessories.
The engine is a Lycoming 0-290D (125 HP) and appears complete with no accessories.
Prior owner believes it"s a Flybaby. The wings fold allowing one to trailer it to a garage and/or to a flight line rather than using a hanger.

Item must be picked up within 30 days of WINNING the auction at the Portales Municipal Airport (KPRZ).
