Vehicle description
NO RESERVE Race prepared and ready to go*-Fiat 124 Spider-SCCA Log Book-last raced in 2016 (Daytona and Lime Rock Vintage Festival), completely gone through in 2017. Very nice race car and ready to race.
1592 Engine w/1800 5-speed transmission, 34 DMS Weber carb on single plane manifold, oil cooler, fuel cell, ceramic coated headers, Griffin alum radiator w/electric fan, newly installed starter & alternator, new fuel pump, new master cutoff switch, memory tach, full set of gauges, MSD, roll cage, full windshield, current belts. We have pictures of 2017 work showing the attention to detail. If you look carefully at the pix of the radiator, for example, you will see a specially fabricated bracket since the original radiator was smaller. Check out the engine compartment-catch tank, hoses, fuel pressure gauge at carb. This car is ready to go.
Delrin suspension bushings, Bilstein race shocks and coils, heavy duty sway bar, coated headers w/race muffler, 3:90 locked rear end.
Dunlop D60 A2’s 205/60 R14 on 5-spoke alum rims (14x6) on car and almost new Hoosier TD’s 205/60-14 mounted on Panasports (14x6) . Car does not have a title-no warranties
An enclosed 14" (plus 30" V) R&R aluminum trailer ($1,800) or a 12" D&D open trailer ($1,200) can be purchased with car.
We have tons of available spares-both street parts (door window glass included with car) and performance parts, including Vicks race prepared 2 liter short block (needs refreshing), Crower cams (never installed) and Vicks race prepared bare 1800 head (not included but priced right).
The car is in Middletown, Rhode Island at our race shop. If you have any questions contact Alan at (401) 847 6294.
*I was asked what the car needs. The car needs the following: drain the coolant and replace with water (I use distilled), top up the gas (I use Sunoco 110), if track is dry swap Dunlops for Hoosiers (torque wheels to 50 lbs. and start at 22 psi)-other than the standard pre race check over-the car needs nothing else. I was asked why we are selling the car-we have two other Fiat 124 race cars (one in RI being prepared and the other in Florida being raced).
