Up for Auction is an Exceptionally clean & well maintained 1990 FEATHERLITE 4670 47’ 2 car ENCLOSED GOOSENECK CAR HAULER. This is genuine Featherlite trailer with the incredible fit / finish & Quality Featherlite is Famous for. Rear drop ramp & extension make loading & unloading your sports cars or trucks a breeze. Trailer Vin Tag was printed wrong at time of build. Says GVWR is only 14,000lbs. Featherlite made a Mistake in build documentation hence the error. I contacted Featherlite and they researched the build sheet. Trailer was not a special build and weight classification was not requested to be reduced from 21K to 14K by buyer. You now have the ability to determine if this is a 14K trailer as Vin states or a 21K trailer as NEW corrected Vin from Featherlite indicates. This is a One time deal and it can"t be changed ever again. Once registered as either 14K or 21K trailer by buyer it will remain that way for ever after. I have both Vin Plates but only one goes to the buyer - you decide which. It has 3 – 7,000lb Torsion axles giving the trailer a 21,000lb total weight capacity. Weight of Trailer (4670 lbs) & Cargo (21K =16330 or 14K = 9330 lbs). Car Hauling insurance prices are Greatly affected by the 21K rating where as if it stays 14K Insurance is much cheaper and you don"t have to meet all kinds of DOT requirements. I don"t think you can find 2 cars that weigh 10K to exceed capacity. Tires are pretty much new with approximately 6K miles on them since installed which are mounted to Aluminum 16” wheels which show some wear to the finish Dimensions are as follows 47” length 40’ deck length 92” wide 7’ Between wheel wells 80” Ramp Width 78” Ramp Door Height 81” Ceiling height 88” Mom’ Attic Length Sides, Top & Bottom of Trailer exterior are in very good condition. Has E-Track mounted to floor making securing your load / Cars super easy. No leaks that I am aware of Has receipts for $3,360 worth of Axle maintenance, repair & Upgrades as well. Trailer comes with a Clean & Clear Title in hand This is a VERY VERY Clean and Great Looking Trailer.
