1968 Datsun 2000 Roadster Race Car fully built to current SCCA E-Production specifications. Full race prepared Former SCCA National Championship contender. Front runner throughout the South East and Central Division during its day. Fresh 2-litre full race engine, close ratio transmission, modified fully adjustable coil over suspension, all the suspension tricks and modifications. Car was last raced at runoffs 2002. Completely rebuilt and updated in 2010. Recently refreshed and serviced. History This car began its racing career in C Production in the SCCA"s South East Division in 1968 where it proved to be very competitive. Throughout its career it has been classified in CP, DP, GT3 and E-Production where it was considered to be one of the most competitive EP Datsuns ever raced. This non factory supported Roadster was initially built and campaigned by Col. George Franklin with support and sponsorship from Macon Datsun in Macon Georgia.
