This uparmored Mark 2/4 ferret has been repowered with a new old stock Ford 300 straight 6 and rebuilt C-6 automatic transmission with extra low first gear The electrical system is 12volt, Electronic Mallory ignition, Holly 4160 carborator all brake lines have been replaced with standard double flare fittings, electric fans,rear bevel boxes have been overhauled and it"s sealing system redesigned, many other upgrades have been done so parts can be locally sourced ,also included the Browning1919 gunmount,all periscopes, half dozen storage boxes and several manuals, good runner. It is being sold as is. Clean and clear title.
This Ferret was just driven 300 miles in the past 2 weeks. Gone is the overheating Rolls Royce I-6 and rubber band transmission.
This repower and retrofit cost $25,000, as well as the completely redesigned electrical system, custom cooling system with aluminum radiators (2)
