Very nice 1960 Daimler Ferret Mk 2/3. This scout car served in Cyprus and in Northern Ireland. Comes with a lot of spares and extras as pictured. The Rolls Royce 4.3 straight six runs really well, best of any Ferret I"ve heard or driven (this is my second). Starts right up, shifts cleanly. Parts are readily available and it"s fairly simple to work on. There"s three or four suppliers in the UK and getting parts from there is often quicker and cheaper (not just for this) than getting them from here. All relevant user, service and parts manuals go with it as well as a number of aftermarket books about the Ferret. As it"s a relatively small vehicle, although quite heavy, transport is not as much of an issue as with a tracked vehicle. This is a reluctant sale due to personal financial circumstances. One of the outer storage compartment lids has some poorly repaired rust on it that needs to be redone. The hatch hinges are really, really stiff and need to be disassembled, cleaned up and lubed. Other than that, there are no non-cosmetic issues that I am aware of. The .30 is long gone but a variety of replicas are available. The smoke grenade launchers have been demilled as required. Comes with notarized bill of sale and New Hampshire registration. NH does not title vehicles over ten years old. Bill of sale and registration will transfer to all 49 other states. I will not ship this internationally, please do not bid. I will assist however I can in shipping domestic. I"m not interested in any trades and none of the parts are for sale separately.
