Selling our class B plus camper.
This is our personal camper, we purchased it this camping season and took a few trips out, and my wife said camping is not really for her and we are now selling.
I’ll start off by saying this camper is 100% camp ready! It is also the top of the line trim for this model, has all the added options, with a slide out. It runs and drives like new everything has been gone through either by me or the previous dealership who I bought it from. When you are here to see the RV, I will have the RV plugged in, and test everything and show you how everything work before test driving. The chassis for this motorhome is the Ford E-450, V10 6.8 Triton motor, 73k miles, the engine and transmission in this model are super reliable, it is known to go well over 300k miles with proper maintenance.
We bought this RV because it’s smaller size, it is at 23ft, you can easily park it a a regular parking spot and we have done this where-ever we went. And it has a single living room slide which expand the space quite a bit after you set up camp. Both the sofa and dinner turn into beds. The best part is that this camper has a full size bathroom with separate sink, toilet and shower, and the previous owner replaced the carpet with vinyl flooring which makes clean up super easy!
Here’s the list of items that the dealership had done within the last 3 month that I was told: All 6 brand new tires Re-Sealed the roof Inspected all fluid and made sure they were road ready. Inspected appliances and plumbing, made sure they were working. (AC, Water pump, stove, water heater, slide out, refrigerator, etc)
Here are the things I’ve done within the last few weeks: Installed a new backup camera. Put in a brand new Duracell RV battery. Changed the oil and tranny fluid (they were both really clean when I changed it, the dealership told me they didn’t change it because it was clean, but I did it any way because I don’t know how old the fluids was.)
The truck itself is in great condition, it handles amazing due to the relative small size, and aerodynamic! We cruise on the highway 80+mph with ease and comfort, it drives like my GMC 2500 pickup truck. We rented a class C from cruise American before, the driving and handling experience is not even comparable. I’ll let the truck speaks for itself when you are here for the test drive. Everything works on the truck, cold AC, hot heat, radio, power windows, lights, no check engine lights or any warning lights etc. please take the time to test everything out.
The only feature that is currently not working is the Onan onboard generator, the dealership said they didn’t have a smaller engine mechanic, so they left the generator as is. It currently turns over but would not fire, the dealership told me it would need to be repaired/serviced or rebuilds the labor is about $300- $1000 for service, or purchase a used one for about $1500 to put in. However I bought a brand new portable 4500w generator that will come with the RV so it’s 100% dry camping ready. The generator is pretty much only useful in the summer time for roof AC and whenever you want to operate the microwave during drying camping everything else runs on propane.
All in all this is a great camper for a couple or a small family. Needs nothing, ready to go anywhere! I felt like I have covered everything but please ask if you have any additional questions. It is located in Fort Washington, MD. RV is also listed locally.
