Vehicle description
Looking to possible sell my bus or even build one for someone. Mine is a 1975 Chevy Carpenter short bus. Vehicle has no rust anywhere. Does have paint that’s chipping off of the roof portion. Has power steering power brakes. 350 motor and turbo 400 trans. Has no fluid leaks and does not leak water into the cab. I’ve taken this bus on many trips over 6 hour without issue. Lights and gauges work with no leaks from the roof or glass gaskets.
To give you my background I grew up in construction with my dad and have done everything from framing, flooring, plumbing, electrical, painting, and metal fabrication.
I built the bus to live in for my last year of college and have been living in it for 6 months. It has full running water with a heated tile shower, air conditioning, heat, hard wood floors, sleeping space for four, refrigerator, lots of storage, and full 110 electrical outlets throughout. It has a breaker box that is set up for solar although I do not have panels on it as of yet.
I’m wanting to sell it to move into something smaller like a sprinter or high top van. I have lived in the bus on days that were over 100 and nights below freezing and have had no issues with it.
I would also be interested in building something like this for other and would be glad to talk to you about what you may want and if I can build a conversion for you. If you’d like more info or pictures please feel free to ask. I am located in Clemson, SC
I know there are details that I’m missing. There is just lots to go over.
