2002 E46 M3 - 2006 S54 Engine totally rebuilt bottom up no expense spared. 1 Race since full rebuild. . - Rod and main bearings - JE pistons .5mm oversized - APR rod bolts, lifters - polished - new VANOS and timing done, etc Donor engine is last year of the S54 and only had 50,000 miles. Purchased from a well known BMW enthusiast. - Diffsonline 3.91 full race diff ($7000) purchased new from them with only 1 race on it, with REM polished gears and diffsonline race limited slip carrier. 9 springs 65 ft/lbs of preload 50/70 ramps This car is great for sprint races BUT it was built bullet proof for endurance races - traqmate dash display data logger - new EPIC long tube headers - custom 3 inch ceramic coated exhaust - new custom dry break quick fill fuel cel (one race on it) ATL and custom cage for it with 044 porsche motorsports fuel pump (a MUST for endurance racing) - all bushings replaced last year, solid engine mounts - custom in house cage, NASCAR bars. Cage into front and rear towers - New tilton clutch with Bimmerworld 5 speed conversion kit - 5 speed transmission swap done this month - Rogue race power pulley system - VF air box, VF Tune with dongle for changing tune with lap top - NEW carbon fiber GTR vented GTR hood, CSL CF roof, CF deck lid = 2825lbs total - oil cooler and a mechanical powered diff cooler (both a MUST for endurance racing to spare the engine and the expensive investment if diffsonline LSD) - PWR oversized radiator - lexan windows all around - RE lower control arms in rear and RE upper control arms reducing weight to 2 lbs only / all control arms adjustable (notice yellow upper control arms in pictures) - rear diffuser fabricated - front panel dash with all labeled toggles for diff cooler, warning signals, glow boards, etc etc - hard wired radio also - CF brake duct cover and brake cooling kit - SS brake lines
now to the most special part of this race car, the suspension itself. Built by English company Black Arts Design. In April it was sent to get rebuilt. Fast compression, Slow compression, Rebound adjustable. True progressive race suspension. Double springs all around. Rear modified to true coilover also. This car does NOT have front or rear sway bars. Yes, thats correct. .none. FRONT: first 2 inches of travel 250 to 450 lbs. After 2 inches progressive to 1400 lbs. REAR, 250 to 500. Then to 1600 lbs. This car is a dream to drive and set up for any track amazing. seriously special race suspension! No comparison to MCS or Motons etc car has the following spares available that are NOT included in this auction - 3 sets of APEX wheels, with BRAND NEW hoosier wet H2O,s and a brand NEW set of Hoosiers R7’s all mounted and balanced.
