Vehicle description
2004 72 passenger Blue Bird school bus on a Chevrolet chassis. Bus is powered by a Caterpillar 3126 Diesel with an auto trans. Air brakes, exhaust brake, and a honeywell camera system. Bus has 141k miles. Runs and drives excellent, it always starts up even in the coldest of weather without a fight. I would not hesitate to drive this bus across the country. New alternator, air governor, and purge valve recently. The only reason it was removed from service was due to the age of the bus as required by the contract with the school district, if it were up to me these would still be in service due to their reliability over the new stuff. 2 owners, bus was dealer serviced and strictly maintained it"s entire life. Body is in great shape aside of one rust spot at the rear and a few small bruises. Underside has minor surface rust. Tires are fair. One seat cover is worn at the top, if I have a good one it will go with the bus. Not inspected due to being replaced with a new bus. Would be excellent to put back in service as a school bus, a great church or daycare bus, a camper or toy hauler conversion, a tiny house, or whatever your heart desires, the possibilities are endless. Clean Pennsylvania title in my name. No reserve so bid early and bid often!
