This is the only one of these we"ve ever had. A front engine transit bus with a gas engine. This thing is neat. Big block Chevy Engine with an Allison 545 transmission. If you are looking to drag race buses for pink slips, this is the ticket. :) This is a good old bus. Bluebird body, Chevy engine, Allison Transmission, hydraulic brakes, and only 100,352 miles as of this moment. Fires right up and runs like a beast with no known mechanical issues. The nice thing about these gas buses is that they are much cheaper to maintain and repair than their diesel counterparts and just about any shade tree mechanic can work on them. Ask any questions you may have but like all of our auctions, this one is being sold with no reserve regardless of our investment. We do not offer any finance, delivery services, or warranty but we are a full service Bluebird dealer, and Cummins and Caterpillar service center as a family owned company in our 73rd year of business. Because we are a dealership, we do collect the 7% Indiana sales tax unless you are tax exempt. There are NO other charges. No dealer fees. No document fees. Nothing. You also get a 45 day temporary license plate if you need one.
