You are looking at a 2007 Blue Bird Express 4000 46-passenger diesel pusher charter bus. This was a former Homeland Security prison transport bus that we purchased at auction. The windows have vinyl on them that you can see out but not in. It may be removed easily as well. Only 101,763 miles. It has a 410HP Caterpillar C13 12.5L diesel engine and an Allison 6-speed push button automatic transmission. It runs and drives great, with no mechanical problems we could find. We drove it back 300 miles with no problems. It has air ride suspension and a kneeling option. There is a tow hitch at the rear. The 22.5" tires are in good shape and the bus is ready to drive away. The body is in good shape with average wear and just a few minor blemishes. The front has some cracking around the grille, and there is a scuff on the left front fender (see pics). There is lots of basement storage underneath. There are three good working A/C units and a nice, large Onan CMQD12000 commercial generator that works good. The interior is clean and in good shape with no damages. It has a heavy pneumatic locking door. The driver"s seat and 2 front seats are very nice Recaro shotgun seats. There is an open toilet at the rear. All books and manuals are included. Overall this is a very solid, well-built bus that"s in very good shape and is ready to go. It can be used as-is as a bus, or converted to a limo or motorhome. If you"re looking for a 46-passenger charter bus with lots of options at a really great price, bid now, no reserve!
