Vehicle description

Antique Vintage Allis Chalmers 3 wheel gasoline golf cart for sale. Golf cart is in good condition for its age and runs. Although exact age is not known, I do have its manual which has a date of 8/64, and from checking around, it appears to be sometime between late 1964 -1967. Golf cart has been in the family since at least late 1970’s and has always been stored in an enclosed garage. I remember driving it around the yard when I was a kid and that was back in the early 1980’s. I do have picture of it being driven from many years ago. As for condition, although I am no expert, it seems like everything is original, except for the seats which I think were replaced around 30+ years ago, and the battery rack which appears to be modified to hold a larger car battery. As for minor issues, it appears that the rear bumper is bent in, and there are some tire cracks (although all tires hold air), and there are some chips/cracks in the fiberglass body from use over the years (see pictures). Also, as long as I can remember, it was always missing its hand rails on each side of the seat. It has barely been used since the early 1990’s and a few years ago I had a small engine mechanic get it up and running for my kids to drive around the yard. He did some repair work on the carburetor (I think he replaced some parts or components, but I don’t remember what), and aside from replacing the belt, and changing the fluids, there was not much else done to it. However, engine seems a little weak so mechanic said someday I may want to rebuild engine if it goes out, but as of now, it starts right up and seems to drive ok. I can provide video of it running a few weeks ago upon request, and additional pictures. After mechanic told me that the golf cart was considered a collector’s item, I decided to keep it in storage and not let my kids drive it around for fun. This month I started it right up and I think it is time to find it a good new home where it will be appreciated. The Golf cart is located in Grand Rapids Michigan, and is available for local pickup in person only. I can’t arrange for shipment. From what I have researched, this Allis Chalmers golf cart is not common (especially in its mostly original good condition), and I am sure it could be brought back to show quality without too much work or time. I believe this would make a nice collector’s piece to anyone interested in a truly unique golf cart. Due to age, Golf Cart sold "as is where is".
