This is a1965 Airstream Overlander 26 foot International trailer that has had a major professional restoration. It is a pristine time capsule that brings you directly back to 1965 featuring the fantastic original wood interior. It comes with a binder illustrating the steps taken during the restoration and has a stated value certificate. Original owners manual as well. I have over 70 thousand dollars invested in this magnificent piece of Americana. I relocated and can no longer keep this gem at home to give it the attention it deserves. It is currently registered and titled in Florida, insured for a stated value of 50 thousand dollars. The bathroom sink was recently replaced with a round stainless steel basin. Included is a canvas green striped awning with four deluxe poles that has never been used. The sofa in the living room area was reupholstered due to age of fabric. A/C, water heater, electric panel with converter, battery, axles, wheels, two fantastic roof vent fans and refrigerator were replaced with new. Hot and cold water lines were all replaced with pex red and blue.
Dents and door issues were professionally fixed on this gem, the belly pan was replaced with new, the frame was scraped, cleaned and painted and the belly pan area was reinsulated after the wiring harness and rear light wiring was replaced. All floor areas in need of replacement were done professionally. The tongue jack was replaced with a new electric jack. It is difficult to part with this trailer. I simply can"t care for it in storage like I did at home in the yard with all my tools at hand. Sadly she (DORA) needs a new loving home.
The bathroom is original with the exception of the new toilet and new countertop with stainless basin. There are two 15 gallon grey tanks in the belly, a fresh water tank (about 15 gallons) behind the sofa and an 11 gallon black tank under the toilet.
