Up for sale 2017 Airstream Bambi Sport 16 ft. weight 3500 LBS. single axle bumper pull ball size hitch 2 5/16 ball. This trailer is the smallest to of Bambi series and can be pulled with any mid size SUV or pick up truck. This trailer was purchased from an insurance company therefore carries salvage title. Trailer had treen fallen on the roof top creating roof top damage to the upper/ ceiling body of the unit. This can be a good trailer for parts or to restore for someone who knows how to work on aluminum and rivets. We have had numerous time repairs of Airstream different year from 1950th to the 2019 models, and those trailers are well made although its structural system is similar to metal stud walls except there is aluminum ribs/ studs with insulation between and inner and outer aluminum skin segments and panel sheeting. There is a company in USA who sells Aluminum in rolls for a very reasonable price and they sell factory match aluminum same you find on any newer Airstream trailers. Trailer is available for pick up in Pittston PA 18640 at the secure storage facility for at least 10 business days once this action begins, then it will be transported to Inman SC zip 29349 for final trailer pick up location. We decided to throw it on Ebay for sale before we start working on it, and this will be a great who restores older vintage Airs and need a lot of usable parts or can and have capability getting this camper fixed.
