Selling our 2014 Heartland Gateway 3650 BH (bunk-house) 5th-wheel RV. Bought new on 1/6/2014 from ExploreUSA RV Supercenter in Mesquite, TX for $53,153.22. We lived it in for 9 months in Midland, Texas, then had it towed in September 2015 to its current location in Concord, NC. Since September 2015, it has never moved from its spot in Apollo RV Park.
The 41 ft outside / 36 ft inside RV features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, porcelain toilets, a full-size refrigerator, 4 TVs, and an outside kitchen. We have added a dishwasher, a washer and dryer unit, a 3rd (portable) AC (stores away in winter), and converted the bathtub in master-bath to a walk-in shower (with shower curtain) for more room.
This RV has been a permanent home to a 3-person family and 1 cat since 2014. Therefore, this RV shows sign of love and wear because it was used as a permanent home versus a vacation RV. The grill that was once attached to the back of the RV rusted and was thrown out. Non-smoking. We are pricing the RV to accommodate that it is in fair/good condition (some holes from hanging things on the wall, some cat scratches on the carpet, a couple of patched holes, a stain in the sink, carpet puckering in 2 spots, trim coming up in a few places, cat scratches on the lower portion of the main door, etc.). There is one exterior scratch (from a tree branch) that occurred when it was driven from TX to NC. All decals are great.
Currently, the AC in the bunk-house does not work; it needs a new capacitor (costs about $60). Therefore, we priced accordingly and are including the portable AC unit (Whynter 11,000 BTU Dual Hose Portable Air Conditioner ARC-110WD). Additionally, while fixing the RV up for sale, we did discover a small leak, source unknown. The damage is very minor- a soaked particle base-board about 1 ft long. Therefore, we have dropped the price from 22k to 21k to allow the buyer an opportunity to repair this professionally. This RV is being sold as-is, meaning we won"t be making any updates or repairs. We have repaired as much as we can. The canopy works, toilets flush properly, all slides work, all lights work, fridge works, stove works, microwave works, dishwasher/dryer/washer works, water pump works, doors/screens/windows close properly, etc. The unit has never been in any accidents.
