Vehicle description
2009 Heartland Big Country 3300 RL, CHEAP! Investment opportunity. It has 3 slide outs with a KING SIZE bed!
My uncle bought this camper new back in 2009. I purchased it from him back in 2014 to live in. I am in the military and I move around a lot so it was the best option for me at the time, until I got a family.
It does need some work on the inside, outside should be good to go. At one point, it was discovered to have a leak in the rear of the camper, which was repaired on the outside but never got around to repairing the inside floor area. The outside rear was repaired with new wood, insulation, and sealant. At the same time, the whole camper was resealed. The only other area of concern for me on the outside was the "driverside", where the finish was bubbling up (see photos), I had a professional look at it and they stated it was from the heat from the heater exhaust and the moisture from the area.
It has been stored for the past few years. I can tell you the outside should be good to go for the most part but on the inside, it will need a few sections of the wood replaced; one in the rear corner where it once leaked (about 3x3 area) and an area by the door needs to be replaced (about 2x2 area). Once that is replaced, new carpet and linoleum or whatever floor you decide to put in. It has been winterized the whole time it has been stored. Jacks work. Slideouts work as they should. Heater/AC worked when stored, etc.
This camper is a great investment opportunity for someone or a great handyman special for someone. I just simply do not have the time to work with it so I am willing to let it go for my payoff. It is financed with USAA.
It is located in Penn Run, Pennsylvania 15765. It is being sold AS-IS with the understanding it does need some repairs.
My number is if you have questions.
