2009 Zenn in excellent condition. This is based on a European Microcar MC-1.
Only about 500 of these cars have been made and probably only 50 if not less, still on the road in the entire country. This is the best of the Zenns - it is a last production year model, it has the best motor, it has alloy wheels and NO air conditioner unit (it was useless anyway, and cut your range in half).
Runs on 6 large deep-cycle 12V lead acid batteries and charges at a regular outlet overnight. The car is designed with 2 batteries and the drivetrain in the front, and 4 batteries over the rear axle, for excellent weight distribution. Current batteries hold charge very well and car travels about 15 miles before needing recharge. Top speed is electronically limited to 27 mph. The car is front wheel drive. Seats 2 passengers with spacious trunk. Has power windows. Has a stereo with 2 speakers. The speedometer display is 100% functional.
This is a neighborhood / electric car. Runs great, no warning lights, and is very dependable. Fun to drive, people turn their heads.
