It is with a tear in our eyes that we offer our beloved motor home for sale. It has given us so much joy in trips both short and long. But, at 79 and 87 years old, we are lacking the energy we once had.
Every mile in the 35,000 we have driven this rig has been a pleasure, whether on country roads, Interstates, or even in Los Angeles traffic. First, it is extremely comfortable to drive, even for 8 to 10 hours. Then, at the campsite, it provides everything we need to cook and eat well, to sleep comfortably, and to shower when we want to avoid the campsite showers. We even have, on rare occasion, pressed it into service as a third bedroom when the two in our home were full. It has also been used as a second vehicle for getting around town.
At approximately 15 miles to the gallon of regular fuel it is more economical than most. We have kept it in top shape, running it every month during “storage” months. The tires were replaced in 2017 and have been driven less than 5,000 miles. The brakes were just deemed in good shape. The rig battery was just replaced. And it just passed the Maryland inspection and emission tests with flying colors. This rig has many more years of pleasure to give.
If it is the buyers first motor home, we offer the option of free cooking utensils, storage containers, even freshly laundered bedding, including an amazingly comfortable pad for the king bed. You would need to add little more than food and clothing for your first trip. We will also be ready to provide guidance and assistance, should you need it, in learning the routines of managing and maintaining the systems. We want camping in this rig to be as rewarding an experience for you as it has been for us.
