Brief Maintenance history: Prior to our purchase in 2011, previous owner repainted RV, replaced microwave oven, replaced rear air conditioner, recovered front Captain"s Chairs with Vinyl, replaced carpet with Short nap home carpet, had rear bed/seating area cushions remade and the 2 large ones have plywood bases, replaced steering gear, generator exhaust, added shock to steering. During our ownership, we have replaced front springs, added leaf to rear springs, Moog steering control arms, power steering pump, thermostat and hose, Transmission cooling line, Water Pump Line, brake work, serpentine drive belt and idler, Carbon Monoxide detector and probably other things I have forgotten to list. In essence, it has been taken care of to be dependable and although it has some miles on it, everything works RV wise and drive train. It is trip ready, but has been winterized for Indiana winter.
Brief Trip History during our ownership: Labor Day Week 2018, from Indiana to Mt Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Rocky Mountain National Park, Trail Ridge Road 12,000+ Feet High, no problems on trip. Have also driven to Phoenix, then pulled 5"x8" loaded cargo trailer home by way of Grand Canyon, south and north rims, Zion, Bryce, Arches, Denver Colorado, over 11,000 Feet with trailer, no problems. East coast trips, Niagra Falls, Shannondowah, Kitty Hawk, Blue Ridge Parkway, Smoky Mountains, several trip to Chattanooga, TN, Florida. It has worked well. Many nights spent in rest parks and parking lots. EAA convention at OshKosh, sometimes set for King bed (husband and wife) sometimes set in 2 twins, for 2 guys or gals. In summary, if you want easy to park and drive, easy to camp without campground, this is a great unit for 2 adults.
We can pick up a distant buyer at Amtrak, Waterloo, IN or Fort Wayne, IN airport. Call to arrange to view and test drive. Millage reported is as of 01/18/19 and may increase based on test drives.
