Vehicle description
For sale is our beloved and well cared for 2005 Winnebago Rialta 22QD. 2005 was the last year Winnebago produced the Rialta so you can"t get newer than this. We purchased this RV from the original owner in Napa and it has been very well cared for. No pets, no smoking, no towing and we have detailed records of all maintenance performed. Actual mileage is 49618 and the title is clean.
The Rialta engine and transmission have been babied and have given us zero problems. All regularly scheduled maintenance and repairs on the VW Eurovan chassis has been performed by Stephen"s Auto Haus in Sacramento who specializes in VW Eurovans. We have recently replaced all four tires, installed two new deep cycle coach batteries, and replaced all coils, engine and transmission fluids. The onboard Onen generator has only 81 hours of use and was recently serviced by Holley Generators. We also installed a transmission cooler which was probably overkill since we don"t tow anything.
We have stored the RV at a local indoor storage facility for the past 6 years so it has been protected from the Sacramento sun. But like all Rialtas, the exterior decals show fading and the chrome finish on the aluminum wheels have some flaking. Aside from the fading the exterior is a good condition. The interior is in excellent condition with no tears or damage to any of the upholstery, carpets have been protected with custom made runners, and all appliances, electrical, AC, heat and plumbing work perfectly. We recently replaced the original VCR with a DVD player so our kids have enjoyed movies while we cruised down the road. The Rialto also is cable tv-ready when you"re staying at RV parks.
Overall, I can"t say enough about the Winnebago Rialta. I was a bit skeptical when we first purchased it but it has been rock solid since day one. We have traveled to many national parks and small towns in-between and have always enjoyed the ease of driving a 21" RV, the excellent gas mileage which averages 18mpg, and the ease of parking anywhere a big SUV can park. Our other favorite features of the Rialta are the big windows all around, the 3-point seatbelts for all four passengers (very rare in RVs), and the surprisingly powerful engine.
Considering that comparable new Class B RVs today start at nearly $100,000, you just can"t go wrong with the Rialta. Please feel free to email me with any questions. I"m a private seller and not interested in low-ball offers or consignment offers. Thanks for looking.
