2005 Featherlite model 4926 28 ft. enclosed car trailer. I purchased this trailer new and have stored it either undercover or in a garage about 80% of it"s life. It has been used to tow vintage race cars to the track it"s whole life. The over all condition of the trailer is fantastic. No damage to any of the siding, no rust, no leaks. Everything works properly and it tows awesome at 80 mph. The 100% aluminum design means it only weighs 4200 lbs. empty and is rated to 15,000 lbs. GVW so can handle over 10,000 lbs. of payload.
It tows perfectly straight and true down the highway, rear ramp door and side door both operate smoothly, the locks/latches function nicely. This has been an excellent trailer the entire time I have had it and I have never had an issue with anything on it. It has always been well taken care of doesn"t need anything. It"s a used trailer and does show signs of use with nicks and scratches here and there. However, the paint is still shiny and for being a 2005 it stands tall against anything else out there even much newer - you will not be disappointed. The only reason I"m selling is because I bought a new one - I replaced it with exactly the same Featherlite trailer just little longer.
- 6 "G" load range tires are in excellent condition, they were new about 1 1/2 years ago and have only ran about 2000 miles. - Brand new spare tire, never used. - Brakes and bearings were serviced at the same time the new tires were installed. - Side entry door has a screen door - Interior DC light - Pair of 3" ramp extensions that I use for - Roof vent - Full length extruded aluminum floor - Plywood and carpeted panels on the walls 24" high - The floor is 28" full width with another 24" of length on the floor in the v-nose area - Rear door framed opening is 76" high, 89" wide - Interior floor between the wheel wells is 80.5"
One minor bit of damage is there is a small gouge in the floor (see photo) about 14" long from a scooter"s foot peg when it fell over, otherwise the floor is in great condition.
