For sale is a 2004 Sterling L7500 municipal plow/dump truck with only 28,417 miles. Its equipped with the 7.2 liter Caterpillar diesel motor, automatic Allison transmission, Air-Flo (FND-11) stainless steel dump body, 10" Wausau poly-plow (HSP4210H), dual 70 gallon aluminum fuel tanks, power windows, power mirrors, heated mirrors, cruise control, air-ride driver"s seat, and factory AM/FM radio. This truck originally had a salt conveyor but was deleted and the bottom of the truck was plated with new steel. Hydraulic lines are plumbed to the rear of the truck which can be used for a spreader mounted on the back if desired.
Since we"ve had this truck: new u-joints, carrier bearing, rear slack adjusters, air chambers, drums, shoes, and the floor of the dump bed was cut out and outfitted with new steel. Truck is mechanically sound throughout, no fluid leaks or diagnostic lights, tires are practically new, motor has good power, auto trans shifts nice and smooth, truck rides nice and smooth, brakes are in excellent working order, and it drives nice and straight down the road. This is a 39,000 GVW truck which will require a CDL to operate. Great opportunity to own a very low mileage turn-key plow/dump truck.
