This truck runs, drives and operates well for the year and mileage. The Cummins 5.9L turbo diesel engine starts right up, sounds good and known for its reliability. Being an older Cummins, it has the typical exhaust smoke haze on a cold start and under load but still has great power. The automatic transmission shifts through all gears as it should. The dump body operates via in cab lever and is in working condition - dumps effortlessly. It has a Chelsea hydraulic PTO which operates via in cab dash mounted switch. The body is in good condition with no major structural rust showing. The bed sides have slight pitting and a few rust holes. The bed floor is overall solid, one spot of the bed has a hole that will need patching. The hole appears to have been from material being loaded inside of the bed and not from rust as the rest of the floor is in good condition. The exterior is in good condition for its age with cosmetic flaws to be expected for the year and miles on the truck. The interior is in fair condition and shows wear with no tears in the drivers seat, minor tears on passenger seat. Paint wear is present on the dash and a few interior trim pieces are missing. The Carfax states this vehicle was previously owned in Kentucky, the frame and underside shows very well with little to no rust showing. Surface rust / scaling is present on the underside of the dump body and subframe. All tires appear to be in good, workable condition with deep tread remaining. The drivers rear inner tire will need to be replaced due to worn tread. No warning lights are illuminated on the dash. The truck is equipped with heat but it does not have air conditioning. Great truck that you could hop in and get right to work. The truck is an older truck but appears to be functioning as it should.
