Up for sale is my 2002 all alum. Featherlite 6 x 10 Cargo trailer. That I converted to a off the grid toy hauler, RV travel trailer in 2010.
First I added windows to the sides. Next I built a full width bed on tracks so I can raise it up to the ceiling to haul large items or down to about 30" off the floor. I also added more tie down tracking to hold down what ever I put inside. Most trips we would haul a couple bikes or a 4 wheeler and bikes and a kayak on the roof. Next we added a alum. ramp to the back to roll thing in and out easy. We also put a full width screen across the back doors for great ventilation. We have a power roof vent above the bed to exhaust warm air out during the day and reverse it at night to bring in nice cool air. We built shelving across the V front to hold our gear and a power management center with solar charger, 120 battery charger/maintainer plugs, switches, TV, DVD player and a large gel "D" size battery (about 160 lbs). On the roof is a large solar panel, crank up TV antenna, and kayak rack. All inside lights and outside lights are LED"s. There is a outside plug you can run 120V power in, to run the trailer if needed. ( we only used 120V once, solar always gave us the power needed). There is a ARB 12V refrigerator (very pricey) this is a very good unit, draws low amp"s and cools great, it will keep ice cream frozen. There are 2 spare tires under the shelving. On the left side wall is a coat rack and room for chairs ect. There is also a wheel boot you can lock around the wheel and no one can take the trailer. Outside on the right side is a custom awing running the full length and out about 8 feet this is all secured to the trailer so the trailer can be moved without removing the awing, also there is a custom alum. screen door that folds around the shelving when open. The trailer is a 2002 model and just sat around the garage not getting used much until 2010 when I converted it to what it is now. We only used it about 3 trips a year until 2015 so I would say it has about 12,000 miles on the trailer. The GVW of the trailer is 2990 lbs. The trailer has been replaced with a overland vehicle now so it is looking for a new home.
