This is a very nice condition 2002 Born Free 24 Model RB that sleeps a family of 4 comfortably with an upper bunk over the driver cockpit and a scissor couch, and the highly desired swivel captain"s chairs/table. Born Free RV"s made top of the line recreational vehicles and were voted best quality many times. The vehicle has approximately 56,000 miles. It is built on an E450 chassis with the gas powered Ford V10 with no mechanical issues, so no worries with power going up and down the mountains if that is your desire. A solid composite roof structure minimizing leak issues substantially. On board Onan generator, ceiling AC/Furnace, exterior shower and awning, solid wood cabinets, and a full kitchen with a double sink, large refrigerator/freezer, convection/microwave oven, and a 2 burner stove. The previous owner had set up a system for watching television outside with a separate flat screen to complement the one inside. No pets and no smoking, so vehicle is fresh and is very clean. Excluding the dealer where we bought it, we are the second owners. We have used the vehicle to take an epic trip with our daughters last year to the Grand Canyon, Zion, Sequoia, Yosemite, Red Woods, along with San Francisco, Vegas, Bend, and Boise thrown in. We also took it to Park City this spring. It performed without a flaw and was spectacularly comfortable for our family of 4. Read up on them and you will see how they are loved by their owners.
This vehicle even comes with the original "Born Free" cocktail glasses that it was sold with. The only issues are some fading of the "Born Free" graphics and exterior, some minor paint peel on the side view mirror arms, and a blower issue on the dash AC/Heat that I haven"t dealt with.
