Vehicle description
A very solid, tough trailer. 100% aluminum and built very very solid with large hinges and solid aluminum floors. Clear title.
Insulated roof in horse area, Split rear FULL doors behind full ramp function completely independently of each other and from the ramp (you can load/unload one horse without opening door behind second horse) 4" side ramp with cleats, Driver"s side access door on front box stall, Dutch window in front box stall, all LED lights, huge heavy duty rims and tires, bulk head door from LQ to front stall, Removable saddle rack in front stall, 7"9" tall, extra wide stalls, head divider between straight load stalls in back, all dividers and gates can be removed and/or re positioned for custom set up.
This is an amazing versatile trailer. I do not know of another 2+1 or a horse trailer that will handle a golf cart or carriage also that includes living quarter space. At least one that is affordable. We never finished the living quarters BUT someone can buy this trailer and do it to their personal design or a diy and save the money!
This trailer was originally built in 1999 as a 4 horse head to head. I purchased it in 2013 and sent it the next year to Oneida Iowa to the Featherlite Factory and had it completely refurbished and rebuilt into a 2+1 or 2 Box stall. All windows and weather striping was replaced, lights replaced to LED, Rims replaced, etc It is extra tall 7"9" (insulated ceiling in horse area) and 7" wide, so it is perfect for warmbloods or even draft horses. I love it"s versatility. It can be used in several ways:
- 2 horses with large mid tack area (removable saddle rack in front box) - 2+1 2 horses straight loaded in back, one horse or 2 ponies in front box (can be loaded from the side ramp) - 2 large box stalls (one 7X8 front and one7X11 in back - Remove all dividers and center back spline and. .one large open stock trailer (no dividers or one center divider) - great for hauling tractor, 4 wheelers, or equipement) - 2 Horse plus buggy or golf cart - An open Toy Hauler - take the honda atv and some 4 wheelers instead of the horses trail riding or hunting
All these combinations options PLUS 12" of living quarter space (unconverted) The front living quarters has been framed with walls, roof A/C set up and framed under the flooring for the gray & black septic tanks. There is a bulk head door that passes into the front box stall. Septic tanks, two tanks, come with the trailer (we just never went through with converting it) a good DIY project?- save some $$
Trailer has had a complete safety check, brake check, light check, barrings check, wheels check - at a dealer and sits in a dealer"s lot currently as a consignment. Midwest trailer sales.
