Vehicle description
1997 Chateau sleep over for sale. A really great fixer upper! Perfect for someone who wants to really make it their own. 96,999 miles. 23 feet long. Please read the following for details:
This camper has been in our family for over 10 years. We LOVE it. The engine and generator are in tip top shape, which is why we wanted to demo and remodel it ourselves in the first place. However, with a 10 month old baby and one on the way we decided to put it up for sale. We just don"t have the time it deserves. The roof had some leaks after Irma hit, so we have been working to replace it. It is half way stripped off already. The camper comes with everything you need to replace the roof except for the plywood. (we bought the supplies online for about 500 bucks.) There is some side paneling on the outside right side that we wanted to replace as well but we didn"t get to that yet. We have the Bed Boss bamboo mattress, all the cushions, and all the cabinets that we took off and were planning to paint. We took out the kitchen counter and sink to redesign the area. We also took out the bench seating in the dining area, but we kept all the wood because it wasn"t damaged. The overhead sleeper got some water damage as you can see in the picture, so we have removed the wood but it’s easy to replace with plywood. We took out the shower because no one ever used it and were planning to build shelving in the space, but if you wanted to you could put a new shower in, the piping is all there. The toilet is still there and works fine. We have kept a dehumidifier running in it the entire time so there is no bad smell or mold at all. We really hate to give it up, but hopefully it will be the perfect project for the right person!
