Vehicle description

Note: If you have been displaced by an event such as flood, fire or hurricane you can purchase this Rialta for use as temporary transportation and housing as you rebuild. If you want a test drive, please call Ken to schedule at (816) 224-5550 - leave a message please and he will call back. 1995 model QD (Originally called “RD”) seats 8 (with seat belts) and sleeps 4 and has a very popular floorplan. One great feature is that the spare tire is located in the back and easily retrievable in an emergency. Subsequent models changed the design to allow space for a built-in generator, so the spare tire was moved underneath the chassis. Having the spare tire be waist high, easily accessible and not covered in dirt and road grime is a blessing. Includes 2,000 lb trailer hitch with removable ball and trailer lights connection. Complete with propane furnace, stove and water heater. Electric roof A/C, microwave and fridge – refrigerator runs on battery, electric or propane. Bathroom has sink, new toilet and shower – bathroom walls telescope and floor trap-door lifts up to provide shower area with shower floor and drain. Original shower package with curtains to protect walls and telescoping mechanism are included and in very, very good shape. 5-cylinder VW engine – sounds like a Formula 1 racer when accelerating and decelerating. Drives like a luxury car with plenty of spunk. The engine was rebuilt on September 30 th of 2009 when the miles were at 80211. Miles are now 101754 so only 20,000 miles on the engine. The frame and undercarriage have nearly no rust. We have an official factory binder with all maintenance records plus massive amounts of original equipment instruction manuals. (See photos) Right rear tail light cracked and taped – see photo. Roof A/C works great. In-dash A/C does not. All the parts are there, but it does not blow cold air. We need to sell it because my wife has cancer and no longer can go camping with me. She is not supposed to be in the sun or get bug-bit due to complications from the cancer. I am going to use whatever funds I get from the sale to turn our patio into an enclosed room so she can still have her herbs and flowers and pretend that she is outside. Here is a listing of the books included: 1995 Rialta Motor Home Operator’s Manual Winnebago Products Catalog for 1995 Model Year – Includes Rialta 1995 Rialta RD Model Floorplan Schematics Winnebago Motor Home Operations Manual (Factory Binder) Volkswagen EuroVan Official Factory Repair Manuals – Volumes 1 & 2 (Includes 1995 Rialta)
Features:
Dash has five 12-volt outlets installed to use for GPS, phone and laptop charging and more. High capacity booster fan installed to replace original heater fan. Costco RV Battery 2-years old, still under warranty. New powered skylight roof vent installed. Prewired for cable and air antennae. (Included) AM/FM/CD player – Sirius Ready with front and back speakers. Intercom installed from driver to back table. Has extra thick undercoating. Frame and undercarriage in great shape. Optional adjustable air shocks included to adjust for variable loads Have original wheel covers plus newer set as well. New Continental tires made for RVs plus a full-sized Continental spare tire. Interior fabric is good. Unique expanding bathroom with sink, toilet and shower tucks away when not in use. Brand new toilet has been installed. Bathroom floor has drain for add-on urinal (if you want to put one in). Configuration is pre-set for composting toilet (also if you want.) Custom “pantry step” provides storage for food for longer trips – perfect place to store cans/boxes/etc. The “pantry step” also acts as a step at the entry and, at night, makes the floor more even for walking around in the dark – stops you from tripping in the stair well. We have the awning for it, which is in great shape, but the plastic end caps that hold it on became brittle and broke when we brushed against a tree branch. It needs to be re-installed with new end caps, but the awning itself and the extending arms/mechanism are fine.
