Pickup Truck Slide-in Camper
Must sell 1995 Skamper Pickup pop-up camper, $1, No Reserve. If you are the only bidder, you get it for the dollar. I am closing out the rest of my 20 year backyard, camper and motor home business. I purchased the Skamper from the original owner. He is a non-smoker, had no wife, no kids, no animals, and he used it very little. Year:1995 Skamper Model Number: 086S Vin Number:1SK79C866S0861223 Sleeps: 2 adults and 1 to 2 small children Weight: 1,800 to 2,200 lbs. Length: 8 ft. 6 inches w/48 inch extension cab-over Width inside: 82 inches Fits inside pickup truck wheel wells. Best used on 8 ft., 1/2 to 3/4 ton truck. Three-burner stove, great condition, with stainless steel cover. Stainless steel sink with under the counter storage. Gas-electric refrigerator. Hot water heater. Fresh water storage, 20-30 gal. 12 volt converter with battery change-over. 3 110-120 ac outlets, two inside, one outside. Small furnace with wall mount thermostat. 12 volt water pump for sink, bathroom toilet, and shower. Outside shower. Blackwater tank with outside drain valve. Two outside military Jerry water or gas can brackets. 4 hydraulic lift jacks for loading and unloading. Bed measurements: Base, 82 X 80 inch with a 4 inch foam mattress to fit the space. Under the entire bed mattress is a large, four compartment, 6 inch deep, storage space measuring 80 X 80 inch. In 1995 this pickup pop-up slide-in camper, with all the bells and whistles, was very expensive. I have the original sales receipt. It cost $8,447.84. In today"s money, for a 2019 unit, that is about $16,000 + . I have all the original manuals, papers, documents, for the camper. All of the fabric and counter tops, paneling, stove top, sink, bathroom surfaces look great with very little, if any use. and all looks great. For its age, this camper is basically unused with a few minor situations. I purchased this coach when I was trading campers in my backyard, some years back. I traded travel trailers, motor homes, a couple of big buses, pop-ups, pickup slide-ins, class Bs, and often I would set one back and tell my wife, "This one is ours." I did that with several units over a twenty-year period, but we only used one. We used a little class-B van and still have it. Now, I am clearing out the last of the last. I am auctioning this coach for $1, No Reserve with all the bells and whistles. If you are the only bidder, you get it. Condition- wise, for its age, it is a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. If you are the only bidder, you get it for the $1. When you win the bid, you must contact me within 24 hours from close of the auction for a wire transfer account number for your 25% deposit to be sent within three business days. Then, within one week, plus or minus a little, bring cash for the rest, load it on to your pickup and drive away. I will give you the pickup truck-bed tie-downs that go with the camper. In the process of getting it ready to sell, I discovered a roof leak, so I installed a complete new roof top vent. The coach now has a new full propane bottle, and I installed new screens all around. It still needs two small running clearance lights replaced. I have the new ones, but have not put them on. The interior floor is sound and solid and the vinyl is in great shape. Screen door is in great shape, but needs the small plastic slide to go over the handle. I have the old one. It has a small piece out and probably can be patched. If you have any questions, please contact me. We live Northwest of San Antonio about 30 miles at Medina Lake in Lakehills , Texas 78063 . REPEAT: If you win the bid, within 24 hours, you must contact me and I will give you a bank account number for wiring a 25% deposit. The deposit must be paid by bank wire transfer within 3 days of the end of the auction. When you show up to take the camper, please bring cash. You will receive a receipt for your money, plus all the books and manuals on the camper. Good Luck Bidding and Happy Camping.
