Vehicle description

1994 International 9600 156” WB FlatNose w/ sleeper Please see all photos. Bid with confidence. Check my feedback. I bought this truck in the spring of 2014. It has not broken down a single time. It has a 400HP Detroit engine. The odometer says 1,083,089 miles (the ECM agrees). Based on the striping on the back of the cab, I would say this is probably a former Wal Mart truck. I paid $8,500 for it when I bought it from a local nursery and then put it in the shop where I spent another $6,200 catching up all of the maintenance and repairing other various issues (I can provide the receipt). The “Engine Stop” light has been on since the day I bought it. The repair shop (and the previous owner) says it has to do with the coolant sensor. The shop replaced the sensor for me and it stopped for a while, but is back on again. It has run perfectly that way for 4 years, so I have not chased the problem any further. The truck is always parked on gravel, so it is hard to see leaks, but I have only added maybe a gallon of oil and (no coolant) in a 4-year timeframe. The tires still have lots of life in them. I used the truck to pull my low boy trailer and equipment. Although I don’t have a tare weight on my low boy trailer, I would guestimate it to weigh 20,000 and my excavator weighed 36,000. So the truck had no problems handling 56,000. I never went up any mountains (here in north Alabama) but I don’t assume it would have problems pulling them with the 10-speed tranny. I don’t know the rear end ratio, but it has 22.5” tires all around. I have sold all of my heavy equipment and no longer need the truck. It is very dependable and I will be taking a loss at whatever price it sells at. The air conditioner does NOT blow cold. I believe all it needs is freon, but not sure. I never drove it more than 30-45 minutes at a time due to short distances to my customers, so the need to fix the AC was not a priority for me.The brakes are at 50% or greater all around. Truck is being advertised locally. The truck is being sold AS-IS, with NO REFUNDS OR WARRANTIES of any kind. This truck is showing over 1M miles, so it is not perfect (there are dings and scratches, missing bulbs on the inside, etc.) but there is nothing mechanically wrong with it that I know of and it would pass DOT inspection. It is not a truck that I would want to drive all day, but it was PERFECT for MY use pulling equipment relatively short distances (less than 100 miles). I can provide additional pictures on request. Seller will allow the vehicle to remain at Seller address not more than 30 days after completion of sale to allow time for Buyer transportation arrangements. While at the Seller address, typical effort will be made to ensure the security and safety of the truck. Insurance, loading and transport is at the sole risk, expense and liability of the Buyer.
