Vehicle description

If you look at hundreds of these this will be in the best condition of all you"ve seen, especially for its age. Let me say, first of all, from personal experience, you see people selling campers of all types, advertising them to be in great condition. You go see them only to find it"s a piece of junk. We"ve all been through it. If you"re in the market for camper then I suggest you look at as many as you can find, and then come see this one, and you"ll be blown away. My wife and I purchased this camper approx. 2 years ago from the original owner, who was a single school teacher. She purchased it in May of 1994. She didn"t even have a truck, so the dealership took it out to her chosen spot and set it up for her. Then she had a fellow build a pole barn over it. She then used it on the weekends and during the summer when school was out for the next 21 years. Once she retired from the school system she decided to sell the camper, and that"s when my wife and I purchased it. I had never seen anything like it. The paint even looked like it was just a couple of years old. She had taken care of it like no one else I had seen. That"s the reason we fell in love with it. It"s been garage kept since we purchased it. We"ve used it maybe 10 times. It had only been towed 8 miles when she purchased it, and we"ve towed it probably a total of 1500 miles, so it"s not been towed around taking a lot of abuse from the roads. I"ve had two other hi-lo travel trailers before, the newest of them being a 2010, and I can honestly say this one is in better condition. I know from experience that with the newer ones, say after about 1997 they have fiberglass end caps that tend to crack where the screws are. With this one you"ll never have that problem. The paint on this unit is remarkable. You would have to look long and hard to find either a chip or scratch. The paint also still has its high gloss. I"ve had it waxed a couple of times since I"ve had it, and the paint and decals all look amazing. As you can tell, I can"t see enough good things about this RV. In anticipation of retiring within this year we plan on doing some extensive camping, and since we"re going to be on the road for longer periods of time the wife wants more storage. That"s the only reason we"re even considering parting with this camper. When you see this camper you would swear it was not more than 5 or 6 years old. It sleeps 6. The couch makes into a queen bed. Then overhead there"s a pull down bed over it. Then the dinette makes into a full size bed. All the appliances work perfectly The frig is 3 way, meaning it works on gas, electric, or 12 volt while pulling it down the highway. The 3 burner stove works perfectly, as does the microwave. The hot water heater works off both gas or electric. The a/c will freeze you out. The heater works perfectly. There are no leaks, nor have there ever been. The toilet and shower work perfectly. The raising and lowering of the unit works as it"s supposed to. There are no stains, no odors, and no tears in the cushions. I put new tires on it when I purchased it even though they had less than 8 miles on them, because they were dry-rotted. The only things I know wrong with it, is we we"re camping and there was a big storm that came through and some branches fell and one fell on the front driver"s side of the top and put a dent in it. I included a picture of it. It"s probably about the size of a silver dollar. It didn"t puncture the top, just dented it. Then another branch fell on the awning and punctured a real small hole in it. I patched it, and the patch is approx. 2 inc square. Other than that there"s nothing at all wrong with this unit. This camper weighs 3200 pounds, and can be towed with a small SUV. I"m sure I"m forgetting something, but if you have any questions please ask. Thanks for looking.
