You are bidding on my +/- 16ft dual axle trailer. I am the original owner. The trailer deck measures 78” between the fenders. The measurement from outside the fenders is 96” wide while the deck length is 193”. The overall length from the hitch is 232”. This trailer has electric brakes on one axle. I replaced the entire brake assembly with a Dexter unit this summer. I also installed 4 new tires this summer. I will include the old brake drums, but they probably should be turned before use. Also included is a side mount spare wheel and tire. You will also receive a Ramsey 5,000lb electric winch. The winch will include the 12ft remote switch and the 25ft “jumper cable” that I use to power the winch. The winch cable has a "kink" in it and it should replaced or repaired (shortened). The “jumper cable” arrangement allows me to use the winch with multiple tow vehicles. Two “white oak” ramps are included. 2 5/16 Ball required. This trailer is constructed of heavy duty boxed steel. The trailer frame and tongue are constructed of 4”X2” boxed steel. The galvanized steel “cat walk” deck is welded to a 3”X2” boxed steel frame. There is a 2”X2” boxed steel rail 12” up from the deck and around the front and both sides. The galvanized steel deck is maintenance free. This trailer tows straight and true. It stops smoothly without pulling to either side. For at least the last 5 years I have pulled it with a Chrysler Mini Van without problems. I purchased this trailer new in 1993, from a gentleman in Orlando who built trailers in his back yard. He told me that the “catwalk” deck was made from recycled steel from the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. That bridge was struck by a barge in 1980 sending multiple vehicles plunging into Tampa Bay. I will leave it up to you whether you believe the story or not. You will receive a good Delaware tile showing the trailer as “homemade” with a GVW of 6,000 lbs. Please note that this trailer is almost 25 years old and you should examine the pictures carefully so that you understand its condition. I can say that everything works and you can immediately put it to work. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time should I sell the trailer outside of EBAY.
