1991 Toyota Dolphin , 6 cyl ,auto , Cab AC (still cold but could use charge) , Last smogged 7/23/18 NO RUST CA VEHICLE . These pictures were taken today . I bought my home from a original family member in 2015 with 53K . I have lived in this when not driving a truck OTR as a commercial driver for 4 years . I had everything reapostered , including front seats and wood floors put in . New Dometic Roof AC with built in heater included in package .
I had some very nice custom curtains made . They are completely private ,
No one can see in through them . The bed has a new memory foam mattress .
I had the steel frame reinforced , it is stronger than when new . New Air Bags were installed .
Recently it now has 6 new tires (Les Schwab 185R-14/8 lite truck tires ), new radiator , new master brake cyclinder . New timing belt , water pump , brakes , refurbished heads , new head gasket , new hoses , complete tune up , all new fluids (this was done in March 2019 , over $3500 in recent costs ). Runs Like New !
Changing the oil is easy . It takes one 1.25 gallon of Castrol 10-30 Oil .
New toilet , great shower , flip a button for the water heater . I am still living in it and in the process of moving everything to a storage locker . It is not new there is some body damage , Some cabinates need to be adjusted , Shored up .
The engine and transmission are great ! This is ready to go cross country .You will not find a nicer small home to live in or to travel with problem free . Right now it is dirty and not perfect inside and outside in looks . It is not new . In Toyota Dolphins the frame is extended about 4 feet . It was sagging so I had it welded . It was a very thick steel sheet so it is stronger now than when new
It has caused the cabinets to bulge outward . They need to be shored up . I haven"t bothered doing it . It would not be hard for someone who can work with wood. It cost me a $1000 to have the frame welded in Manteca 2 years ago . the frame was starting to sag . They proped it up and welded a steed strip
in place . Other than the bulging of the cabinets it has been fixed . There is nothing wrong with it . As is it would be a great home for someone . With a little work this could be made really nice .
