My Intention is to sell my motorhome to the correct person or entity and not to the first person who comes along. I want to see the motorhome go through a makeover or a renewal or reconditioning as you see on TV when they take a older car and upgrade it and make it very much more usable. This buyer should have the Vision, resources, ability,, expertise,to upgrade and repair, later they can send me photos or bring it around and show me their good works. IS this you ? If so you are a good candidate to buy. YES We are relisted again because buyer could not come up the money, please if you make offer be responsible for your " word "thanks. . This Classic Toyota Dolphin is still fairly up to date, low mileage, and worthy of a modern day makeover. Yes the style is a classic, the 1987 Toyota 1 ton chassis, was extremely reliable, economical, attractive and robust. The bulletproof 22R four cylinder motor was a long term motor not overpowered but coupled with an automatic transmission with overdrive is sufficient to pull the motorhome and a small medium size car or pickup ( without the overdrive) behind if you are not inclined to be heavy footed and can take the time to enjoy life and enjoy yourself on a vacation trip or just tour our beautiful country, the ability to stop in a remote location even without services and still be self contained, is very satisfying when other people have to be tethered to what ever RV park they can afford or find. (Hint)The support structure of Walmart is still always appreciated on occassions, when supplies are needed and their parking facilities are offered. We should be respectful of their advocacy and leave it clean and park at a respectable distance so as not to interfere with their operation or the parking of their regular customers, so as not to ruin a good thing for ourselves or other RV ers. . The MILEAGE is 101281. The Toyota Dolphin is in great mechanical condition but still needs a new fuel pump which is located in the fuel tank located amidship just about 12" in board from the side door entry. Not the first time it has needed replaced from sitting without use for periods of use of 6 to12 months should be relocated to the front of the vehicle, which would make it easier to maintain when and if there is another problem. The body of the Toyota chassis kit is in excellent condition and has no rust, the doors close easily like when new. The interior is very clean and with no issuess.the front air conditioner functioned just fine may need recharged with new gas ( normal ) The roll out Awning is in good condition and runs from over the door to the rear of the coach The Dolphin coach is currently being utilized as an office ,guard house and watched by one person and is cluttered with clothes and other small items, the coach does not smell or does not have cockroaches or bed bugs. The original carpet was replaced and is still very clean after eight years of service, has throw rugs on floor. The ceiling is very unique and has a domed ceiling , this good idea is really a great idea because the head room is very good and clear, the air conditioner is located in the dome, this leaves your head space clear to walk freely without bumping your head as before . The ceiling is stained from two leaks one on each side of the roof above . The leaks have been stopped but the stain has been left and can be addressed at the time it is undergoing makeover. The Chassis is very good and contains AIR LIFT brand air springs along with heavy duty leaf springs help support the load the chassis is rated by Toyota as 1 ton rating, the bumper contains the drain tube for the holding tank, the bumper has trailer hitch and ball for towing your vehicle or trailer the spare tire is carried on back of the coach. The plumbing is in good order and works normally Inside of the coach all appliances will go with the sale all work fine,TV with VCR Microwave,toaster oven, REFRIGERATOR 2yrs old. DOLPHIN OEM High tech heater works. very well. Tires are decent and have much tread, THAT JUST ABOUT COVERS IT. YES THE COACH NEEDS A MAKEOVER AND HAS A FEW ISSUES AND ALTHOUGH THESE HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIEDTHE COACH IS BASICALLY GOOD THE VEHICLE WILL BE SOLD( WHERE IS AND AS IS) THANKS (don"t wait to long though other couples are looking as well ) good luck. Just think 1/10 th the price of new with just add work gets real good gas mileage. Note if you are weak kneed,or willy nilly and want a good machine for nothing, or no work, please go someplace else or buy brand new ,don"t bother me with baby questions! "can do," serious adults only please. Just imagine yourself, or you and your wife having the ability to change the scenery daily as you move from Canyon to beautiful lake traveling on your retirement funds, with money to spare because you chose wisely and bought a small economical attractive and efficient Dolphin.
