1988 GMC 7000 rollback truck. 22" Jerr -Dan all steel body, 10,000 lb capacity with wheel lift. 366 gas engine, 5 speed manual transmission with 2 speed rear axle, power steering and hydraulic brakes. 138,210 original miles. Mileage may go up very slightly as truck is still tagged, insured and used on occasion. I am the second owner of this truck having purchased it from the original owner in 1998 with 119,240 original miles on the odometer. When I bought the truck the original owner told me that the engine had recently been replace with a rebuilt engine and had a new clutch installed at the same time, The engine does have a rebuild tag affixed to the block. After I got the truck I went completely over it replacing anything that needed to be replaced such as tires, front end parts and springs, hoses, belts, filters and all fluids, tune up, power steering pump, new paint, ect. Over the years I have also replaced the brakes and most of the hydraulic hoses. This truck runs and operates very well. Would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It is running in all pictures. It was just Pennsylvania inspected and is good until November 2019. It has always been maintained properly. I have the receipts and maintenance records. Also include is the factory shop manual and Jerr-Dan operator, maintenance, parts manual along with some spare filters and oil. It has been stored inside since 2004. Prior to that it was stored outside so there is some rust on the left fender, some bubbling on the lower right fender ( see pics ) and a spot of rust on the bed headboard upright rail at the bottom right. Also as might be expected for a truck of this age there are some oil leaks such as at the hydraulic control valve, main cylinder that rolls bed back, pto box, ect. Most of these leaks have been like this since i bought the truck but since they are not that bad and do not effect operation I have not taken the time to fix them but they should be fairly simple and inexpensive to repair if you wanted to take the time to do so. Also notice that the mufflers will probably need replacing in the near future but are ok for now. The flashing light works but the plastic housing is cracked. Truck does have air conditioning but it is not working and will need a compressor. The 22" foot steel diamond plate bed is in good solid shape with 8000 lbs. hydraulic winch.The side rails are removable. There are extra stake pockets bolted to each side. Has two, three foot aluminum diamond plate tool boxes and one large four foot Knapheide steel box. All boxes are in great condition and have extra keys. All parts for the wheel lift are present including the two tie downs straps for the wheels and wired magnetic mount rear lights for towed car. There is a three way ball mount with pintil ring tow hitch on wheel lift for towing a trailer. All tires are excellent, 80% or better tread. Two on front match, four on rear match. Does come with spare tire on rim. The inside of cab is very clean and well taken care of. Has storage bin behind seat. Comes with emergency triangle kit, fire extinguisher, spare fuses and bulbs to please dot. Full tank of gas (50 gallons) included. Truck drives, handles well.It has served me very well over the years as I have hauled two cars at a time, one ton trucks, forklifts, skid loaders, tractors, scissor lifts, man lifts and practically every type of equipment with this truck. It is currently registered at 26,000 gvw but could be registered up to 28,000 gvw (see pic of tag) The only reason I am selling it is because I have decided to down size to a pick up and trailer. This truck has lots of life left and will make someone a nice truck as it has done for me. I encourage you come take a look for yourself. Clear PA title.
