1984 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper Van
We hate to sell this but we have too many cars right now and just are not using this as much as we would like to. Please read full description
Mileage is unknown as the odometer stopped about a year ago. Stopped at 178k and my guess is has about 182k
Manual Transmission Original water cooled engine Gasoline
Runs excellent with no mechanical issues and is very fun and easy to drive.
Chassis is extremely clean with no rust rust as this was a California van then sold to Colorado
New General "Grabber AT2" tires and Rocky Mountain Westy 15" rims with maybe 3500 miles (this is a must have: If you enjoy being blown off the road use the stock wheels instead (included as well).
Brand new 650 CCA battery
New Fuel tank and all hoses 2016 and 2017
New Fuel Pump 2017 Hella 500 lights
Replaced Hatch Struts 2016 blades 2016
New clutch 2015
Engine was gone through in 2015 by a VW specialist prior to us purchasing this camper (disassembled and rebuilt)
New Coolant Spare tire original size
New Transmission Fluid
New Oil and Filter, plugs, wires, and distributor
Has factory A/C but would need to hook it up to modern fittings
Windows tinted 2016
CD player with detachable face (works but could use some speakers replaced)
Includes some spare parts
Comes with two cross bars and the bike rack on the trunk DOES NOT COME With the Max trax, fuel cell, or the tan cargo boxes Yakima towers and bars only
New Upgraded water faucet pump and hoses from Go Westy (2016)
The fridge is the original and works great
Stove works as it should on Propane
has all privacy curtains and rear screen for the hatch
This is a very clean non smoking Westy - No weird smells Original manual and paperwork included
It has been awesome and we have driven it to Steamboat, Moab several times, Wyoming several times and around town for fun.
Starts right up and runs and shifts smooth.
Great gas mileage.
Needs the following: Top to be repaired - It works just fine picture in Moab Sept of 2016 with the top but has some small tears and the zipper for the screen is broken. Windshield has a circular crack. It is over 30 years and it does have a couple dings and dents and such.
I can help with shipping Its original and not restored so it does have some dents and dings so please look at the pictures
