| “This rare “Bird” is believed to be a prototype. Check out the pics! Has groovy orange interior with window treatments! Also a floral bathroom! Doesn’t leak and is dry inside. Has a few minor spots from before on the ceiling that can be touched up with paint. Entry side has dents, dings. bends, scrapes,scratches and someone painted over the stripes. Not sure why. It may have been done intentionally as this unit was not intended for sale. Either way it’s a rare and interesting camper with a low starting price. Someone could repaint and fix that side up. Some marker / interior lights need bulbs. Appliances are working. Plumbing is untested. The water pump does turn on.The floor has some flexing to it possibly due to the lightweight materials used at that time. No floor rot or anything like that.Four of the windows are stationary while three others slide open. Some laminate edging on table/counter is missing. Entry door rubs at the bottom.” |

Hello, This camper is a rare "Bird" especially with the iconic name of "Heritage Eagle". Basically a one of a kind, self contained travel trailer! A prototype/conversation piece if you will. Listed with no reserve for a 7 day auction that will run its course. A starting bid of only $500! High bid wins! >Serious and prepared to buy only need bid please! Someone can own this interesting piece of American camper history! I believe it was made by Heritage Recreational vehicles in Granger Indiana. Not too far from the RV Hall of Fame Museum! It"s part of American camper history with some mystery. Perhaps it was intended for the European market. Interesting, the design on the outside of fridge door is similar to the front exterior panel behind the horizontal LP tanks. Camper tows great! Has good tires and good working electric brakes for your ride home. It can be used as-is. I recently tested the fridge and furnace which they both work! Fridge worked on both LP and electric!The automatic furnace works great and blows heat into bathroom. Has a12v charging outlet built into the front of the kitchen counter. Roof was coated in specific areas last fall along with some caulking. All three roof vents open and close. Does not leak with a few minor ceiling stains/ blemishes from years before that I left alone just so you can see that it is minor. A little paint and touch up should cover it well. All the paneling looks good. Appears to be all original inside including the classic window treatments. Non-smoked in. No evidence of any mice! I hope a new owner will appreciate its rarity. The body measures about 14.5ft /17ft with tongue. The interior height is 6"1" Bed sizes are approx. front 48x80 rear 38x80. The exterior height approx. 7"10” ground to vent top and may fit in some garages. Weight per title is 2040lbs. I don’t know the GVWR. I haven’t noticed where a vin is. Either way I have a clean and clear title in my name. Local pickup and payment due in cash within 7 days following auction. A personal check or money order may be accepted but will need to clear my bank before trailer is released.In that case it may take up to an extra week before pickup can be made. Send a check ASAP! Shipping, if needed, is buyers responsibility. Sold used as is. No refunds or returns. I may charge storage fees if not picked up within 15 days after auction ends. The vin on my title is only 7 digits (C489185) I added the 0001 here on to reach the 11 digit minimum. I had no problem transferring it in my name. T ail lights work. No battery. No keys. Spare tire is older but holds air. You"ll need a 2” ball and a round 7 prong plug for lights and brakes. I prefer buyer to pay in cash at time of pickup within 7 Days after auction ends. I must recieve a personal or cashiers check within 7 days of auction ending. Check has to clear my bank before trailer is released which may take an extra week before pickup.Shipping is buyers responsibility. I will accommodate your shipper within reason if you want to have it shipped. No Pay pal accepted. Although you’ll need an account with them to bid.
