Vehicle Description: For several years regularly used this RV for camping at local state parks in Pennsylvania with our dogs. Unfortunately, due to changes in living and work schedule, it hasn"t been practical to use it for the last several years. As a result, it has remained parked and uninspected since 2016. Both house batteries were recently replaced and the RV starts and moves. This unit is sold as is.
Powered by a Caterpillar 3208 diesel engine. The transmission is an Allison automatic and a Rockwell rear end with air brakes. This is quite the bullet proof drive train. The tires are Toyo Hyparadials
She holds 100 gallons of water, and 100 gallons of diesel. She is all galvanized steel construction and actually is rollover rated. This is one of the safest motorhomes on the road. Due to a seal leak at the gauge on the 45-gallon propane tank, it is currently bypassed to use 20lb cylinders.
She runs great and drives very well. There is some play in the steering. Most of the components work well. The generator does not work. It is a gas Kohler twin cylinder. Not sure what"s going on with it. The former owners state that it ran fine then it started sparking so they shut it off and could never get it running again. It was never a problem for us because we always camped at places with hookups. It would cost around 4 to 5 grand to replace. Not sure how much to fix. The four leveling jacks are hydraulic - only the front two are in working order. Sometimes they work sometimes they don"t.
She has 3 separate propane furnaces with their own controls (two currently installed and operational - comes with assorted parts to get the third one operational) and 3 heaters off of the engine coolant. Domestic hot water is provided by either the engine or on-demand propane. The electric hot water tank is bypassed. A swing out radiator was installed and the engine compartment has been soundproofed.
I have all of the books it came with when it was bought new and plenty of handwritten notes from the previous owners.
Some of the exterior paint on the passenger"s side has begun peeling. Microwave doesn"t work.
Deposit is non-refundable.
