1976 Bluebird Wanderlodge class a bus motorhome for sale. This is not just any old rv this a classic bus and not many available for sale. Before reading any further know this bus is not road ready right now and needs some mechanical tlc.
Structurally this is the best rv there is. Park it in your yard as a guest house or B&B. Park it on your land up north and go off the grid. This bus was made an rv from the factory it is not a bus to rv conversion.
It is 33 ft and odometer has 24,567 miles on it. Despite its age this bus is excellent condition inside and does not show 40 years of use. The upholstery is great condition there are small blemishes but there is no cracking or peeling.
The flooring was just replaced in January. This bus could almost be lived in right now as is.
It has the Ford 534 gas engine and starts and runs but hasn"t been driven recently due to old tires and storage location.
Also the air brake system was disengaged for towing and hasn"t been made operational yet.
Gas to engine is temporarily supplied from a portable fuel tank as the original fuel tank and lines need to be flushed and cleaned. This work is being done as time permits and progress will be posted.
The tires are holding air but are pretty old and cracked and 1 blew out on the last trip. This has not been used in cold country and there is no rust problem underneath.
Generator starts and runs good. Fridge and freezer combo works great.
Water heater works.
There is a separate ice maker but it hasn"t been tested yet.
Microwave, stove and oven work.
2 thermostatically controlled heaters work.
Windows operate and have screens and original curtains.
2 white leather couches in the front. 2 couches in the rear bedroom. Mid coach bathroom with shower. There is overhead storage compartments along both sides front to rear. Just had new flooring installed thru out. Carpet in front and back. Vinyl tile in mid section kitchen dining area. The roof on these busses is very thick corrugated metal for strength and can be walked on. The roof is riveted metal and does not wear out. There are no roof leaks.
The things that need work are.
The roof top ac units have not been used for several years and have not been operated as of yet. The automatic steps do not come out.
The coach freshwater pump for the plumbing system is not working. Should be repaired or replaced soon.
There is a crack in the very bottom of the passenger side windshield.
The entire driver side exterior has a good covering of graffiti. I havent tried to remove it yet but it might need to be repainted to cover up. There is a hitch and spare tire rack on rear as well as a solid built in ladder for roof access.
May trade for the right bumper pull travel trailer and cash.
