Vehicle description
This is a super straight 1977 Argosy 24 foot rear bath with two twin beds forward and a full bed convertible dinette in the galley area. I bought this about a year ago with the intention of restoring it but have to many projects going on right now and don"t want it to sit for the years it would take for me to get to it.
The outside is 99% straight with only one small dent in the rear below the license plate (see photo). I think it will pop out easily. Inside is in pretty good shape with the exception of the upper cabinets. . They are in OUTSTANDING shape. The PO told me they were replaced at the factory "a few years ago". They show no signs of wear, fading, warping and all the tambour doors look and operate like they are brand new.
All I have done with it so far is wash it, park it next to my Airstream and daydream about how nice it will be with just a little effort. I tried washing the curtains, bad idea. . It will need new curtains. Two trailer girls will make a set for around four hundred bucks. The only systems that I know are working are the roof AC, the 110 volt &12 volt electrical and the refrigerator. There is floor rot near the door (see photos). I believe it can be repaired by removing only one bulkhead and replacing the wood. The cause of the rot is poor seals on the door which will need to be replaced also. The original plumbing (copper tubing) needs to be upgraded to PEX. I have not tested or used any other system, (heat, water, water heater propane) I did tow it about 50 miles and the brakes & exterior lights work. Tires are decent and you can hook up and tow her anywhere. (870) 404-2319 call or text.
