Vehicle description
VERY UNUSUAL 1 OF A KIND TRAVCO A MOTOR HOME
* As You Can See In The Pictures This Travco Has A Customized Front End
* Great Combination Of Short 22ft Length and 413cu 4brl Engine, Extended Bumper Great For Towing
This motorhome sat for decades in West Virginia was sold at an estate auction then was transported to western Pa. were it sat a few more years. I purchase it, shipped it to Ct. and did the following.
* Replace the carburetor * Replace the electronic ignition system * Replace the battery with a high cranking amp RV battery * Removed and restored the gas tank services electric fuel pump * Thoroughly cleaned exterior and interior * Bled the brakes * Removed and disposed of the bed cushions
At this point the engine starts easily, runs well with good oil pressure and yard drives. The camper could be usable with minimal restoration work or modified to your taste. Upholstery is deteriorated and some typical wood deterioration mainly in the sleeping area. I would dismantle, completely clean and reassemble the breaks before driving on public roads. Tires have good tread hold air put are old.
A Great Start On A Classic Class A Motorhome
Soon after acquiring this I purchased a much larger restoration project that has taken me in another direction. So I am moving this forward rather than let it sit again.
Will be sold with old title, old registration, owners manual, service manual, some original dealer papers and a Connecticut bill of sale.
Sold As Is Were Is. You Are The Judge.
