Vehicle description
YOUR SEARCH IS OVER! Forget Shasta, these Midas campers are solid as a rock, and hard to come by. Completely torn down and refurbished with new interior, custom upholstery, Coleman 13500 BTU A/C, new electrical wiring, lights, interior lights with dimmers, new toilet, new stove, new refrigerator with separate freezer, new window cranks, custom awning and more. Hand finished original cabinetry, with the exception of a few cabinet doors that didn"t finish up nice, new thick foam cushions, Wilsonart Vintage Daisy"s table and counter-top, 1 1/2" rigid foam insulation in walls, cork flooring, new gas piping, new fresh water line, windows all sealed, roof sealed, and portable gray water tank included. End bunks fold to create shelves, and each have their own custom made ladder. This thing is clean as a whistle, and ready to camp! 30 Amp Power, + additional heavy duty cord for extra capacity. No leaks. Entire camper shell is aluminum. They simply don"t make them like this anymore. I put a lot of extras in into the refurbishment. Camper pulls really easy and smooth. Tires have plenty of life left. I"m embarrassed to say how much money I spent to refurbish this camper, as I know I can"t get it back out in selling it. I"m hoping someone can take it and enjoy it.
Please note, the picture of the camper with the awning is a slightly older picture taken before I painted the camper its current colors. Awning is custom made Sunbrella fabric, and very high quality. It comes with the poles as well.
The camper has a few dents and dings here and there. It"s 44 years old after all. I didn"t replace any outside panels. It"s in great shape, and is a very comfy little camper. A/C cools the camper down very quickly. The camper is worth every penny of the asking price, and more. This is no ratty, smelly, "tired old travel travel trailer". This baby was restored with love and attention to detail; a one of a kind rig. I do have the original cook-top/oven that came with the trailer that I"ll throw in if you"re interested. It worked when I bought the camper, but I wanted a new cook-top without the oven.
Buyer responsible for pickup. Will consider meeting buyer if within 100 miles or so of the Pensacola, FL area.
I reserve the right to terminate listing early as camper is listed locally as well. $500 deposit required within 24 hours; full payment within 3 days.
Happy Bidding! ! On Jul-22-17 at 09:47:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a couple questions about the refurbishment. Here are some details:
Camper cost - $1,500 A/C - $700 Graywater tank - $220 Stove- $150 Toilet- $220 Upholstery - $800 Awning $400 (Marty"s Awnings) Countertop/table top - $350 Insulation - $290 Lumber, screws, sealant - $1,000+ Electrical - $350
These are the main reburbishments/replacements, etc. + over 100 hours of labor.
The reserve is considerably less than what I have in it.
