Vehicle description

For sale a homemade 17’ wooden livestock trailer, originally constructed by my grandfather in 1973 (VIN# DRXA30195MO) and rebuilt in 2013. Since being rebuilt, the trailer has been stored in a barn on a gravel floor. The original trailer was stripped down to the frame and axels. The metal floor framing was replaced and the entire frame was painted with a rust retardant oil-base paint. The gooseneck (ball receiver) hitch is new, as is all of the electrical wiring and lights. There are two side lights and a braking/turning light on each side. The lumber in the floor is native oak. The side boards are treated pine. All bolts and taps are new. The total outside dimensions of the trailer are 24’ long x 104” wide x 88" tall. The inside dimensions are 17’ x 65” wide with one divider gate that separates an 8’ front bay from the 9’ rear bay. The inside cargo bay has 6 side boards for an inside height of 65”. The rear swing gate has a 33” sliding gate. There are two single-tire 7,000 lb axels, for a GVWR of 14,000 lbs. The dry weight of the trailer is approx. 4,000 lbs. The four 15" tires were purchased new in 2013 and have been pulled approx. 100 miles. Delivery negotiable within continental U.S. Cleared payment will ship next day received, if delivery negotiated. Payment by Cashier"s Check or Paypal only; no returns and all sales are final. If an issue does arise, however, I am more than happy to help resolve it .
